Integrate Mitsubishi HVAC systems with third-party building automation platforms using the Mitsubishi PAC-UKPRC001-CN-1 MELCOBEMS MINI Interface. Designed for compatibility with CITY MULTI®, M-Series, and P-Series indoor units, this compact interface enables advanced building management system (BMS) communication through BACnet® MSTP and MODBUS RTU protocols for enhanced monitoring, control, and energy management.

Third-Party Building Management System Integration

The PAC-UKPRC001-CN-1 allows compatible Mitsubishi indoor units to communicate directly with third-party BMS platforms, enabling centralized HVAC management and automation. The interface supports integration with a wide range of systems including Siemens, Crestron, Invensys, Andover, WEMS, and other commercial building control platforms.

BACnet® MSTP & MODBUS RTU Communication

Designed for flexible system integration, the interface supports BACnet® MSTP (RS-485) addressing from 1–127 and MODBUS RTU (RS-485) addressing from 1–247. This dual-protocol capability simplifies connectivity with a variety of commercial automation systems and controls infrastructure.

Advanced HVAC Monitoring & Control

The MELCOBEMS MINI interface provides commandable control points including:

  • ON/OFF operation

  • Mode selection

  • Temperature setpoint adjustment

  • Fan speed control

  • Air direction control

It also supports monitoring functions such as room temperature, fault codes, operational status, and product information for comprehensive HVAC management.

Direct Indoor Unit Connection

The PAC-UKPRC001-CN-1 connects directly to the indoor unit’s CN105 IT terminal and receives 12VDC power from the indoor unit connection, eliminating the need for a separate power supply in most applications. The interface is also compatible with the MAC-333IF connector CN505 IT terminal when an additional 12VDC power supply is provided.

LED Communication Status Indicators

Integrated LED indicators provide real-time communication status monitoring between the interface, indoor unit, and BACnet®/MODBUS network. These visual notifications simplify troubleshooting and system diagnostics during installation and operation.

Compact, Lightweight Installation Design

With compact dimensions of 3.74 x 2 x 0.75 inches and a lightweight 3 oz. design, the PAC-UKPRC001-CN-1 installs easily within HVAC control environments while minimizing space requirements. The included cable length of approximately 37 inches provides installation flexibility.

Configuration Software for Simplified Setup

The interface supports configuration through Mitsubishi’s MELCOBEMS MINI setup software, downloadable from MyLinkDrive.com. The software allows users to configure BACnet® settings and communication parameters through the Modbus Points Table using a field-supplied USB-to-RS-485 adapter.
