Seachem® Water Garden Oasis Pond pH Buffer

Designed to raise and stabilize your pond's pH. The ideal product for raising pH in liner ponds or in areas with acid runoff problems. Adds carbonates and bicarbonates to your pond, giving it greater buffering capacity against acids from rain, runoff, or other sources. Increased buffering capacity helps keep your pH steadier and prevents your fish from being subjected to dangerous pH swings. Since it contains no phosphate, it is safe for koi, goldfish, and other ornamental fish. Buffers between 7.2 and 8.2, but preferentially around 7.4-7.6. 2 L treats approximately 1,000 gallons.

General Information
Pond pH Buffer is designed to raise, buffer, and stabilize the pH of decorative ponds without the use of phosphate. It is ideal for use with planted ponds containing koi, goldfish, and other pond fish. It is not eutrophic and will not promote algae growth.

Directions:

Liquid: Add 500 mL (2 cups) of Pond pH Buffer to each 250 gallons of pond water each day until target pH is reached. Add near a pump intake for optimum mixing and dispersion. 2 L treats approximately 1,000 gallons.

Powder: Add 1/4 cup of Pond pH Buffer to each 200 gallons of pond water each day until target pH is reached. Then use as required to maintain pH. Optimum pH for most ponds is between 7.2 and 7.8. This product will raise pH, but will not exceed 8.2. 2 kg treats over 6,400 gallons.
